Sachin Bijlani began training with Coach Lundy and 4th Down University (4DU) in 2023, marking the start of his kicking career. Originally from Rockville, Maryland, he took up football during his senior year at Thomas Sprigg Wootton High School. There, he made a significant impact by kicking a school-record 46-yard field goal, delivering 18 touchbacks from 33 kickoffs, and earning the prestigious honors of All-County Kicker of the Year and All-State in the 4A/3A class.

 

Bijlani is currently a freshman at Penn State University where he intends to walk-on to the football program. Bijlani is currently in the Schreyer’s Honors College, majoring in Corporate Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the Smeal Business School as well as Data Science. He also works as a Data Analyst for the Nittany Lions Men’s Volleyball Team. 

 

Sachin Bijlani brings experience in data science, sports analytics, and coding, with plans to support 4th Down University (4DU) by improving its backend processes. During the summers, he returns to Rockville, MD, where he has dedicated eight years to coaching and mentoring his neighborhood swim team. As he continues to develop his kicking career, Bijlani is excited to refine his mechanical understanding of the game and reach new heights in the field.
